Next Reading...

Hello Reading, Eating, Drinking, and Crafting Ladies...
First of all, thank you so much to Cornelia, Perri, and Mr. and Mrs. Medina for letting us invade the wonderful back patio and kitchen! The fireplace was a great addition to our conversation.
Secondly, write on your calendars now -- so you're not shocked when I send the evite- Tuesday, November 11, 6:30pm. Mary suggested meeting at Pannikin Cafe in La Jolla and then moving next door to D.G. Wills Books. Unfortunately, they both close rather early (8 and 7pm). So, perhaps we should save this for a Sunday afternoon book club in the future (tea/coffee and books). It looks really cool, so hopefully we can make it... or perhaps those interested can go a different night.
After much debating (or not), two books were selected. The book everyone is reading is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. If you find yourself with a ridiculous amount of free time, please start on a collection of short stories, Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri.

Thanks again for everyone that made it last night, and hopefully those that could not make it will join us next time.

Let me know if anyone has ideas for our next meeting place since coffee and book store isn't looking too likely.

Happy Reading!

Karina
